Capt. Eric Wiberg

Presentation on U-Boats In New England

Eric Wiberg’s career and writing have been focused on maritime non-fiction, with over 40 books, voyages on 500 vessels, 75 under his command, & four round-world trips. Raised in the Bahamas with Swedish and US citizenship, Eric has worked in the tanker, bulker, salvage, tug, yacht, and seafarer-visits sectors in numerous ports since the early 1990s. Under the imprint Island Books he writes and publishes books for various clients globally. He lives in Boston, is on the board of the Steamship Historical Society of America, the library committees of the New York Yacht Club, and the Marine Society of New York. He holds licenses in law and with the USCG.
